Last week we were delighted to receive a Royal Visit at Deckchair HQ from Stuart of the Great British Sewing Bee, who stole the show in the recent series with his winning personality – the new Guru/Gok Wan of stitching we believe!

Make Aga Hob Covers
With the cold winter nights looming ahead of us, it’s a perfect time to get out the sewing machine and start a sewing project. Using fabric from our Deckchair Stripes patchwork bundles we have created some gorgeous AGA covers which will brighten up the kitchen during these dark winter months.

Specially for all you patchworkers and quilters out there we have updated our range of fabric squares and bundles to include not only many of our new cotton striped fabrics but they now contain 12 squares of fabric not 10 which is over half a metre of fabric
We also have some patchwork fabric bundles which contain around 10 colours of Interior Stripes weighing approx 500gms, each strip or piece is a different size.
Each fabric bundle is different and completely random!
My Grandma made a fabulous travelling play rug out of quilting squares – she wadded it inside and backed it with fleece – it is absolutely perfect and I love rolling around on it!
